DADELDHURA, June 16: A school teacher died in a road accident that took place at Kurjina in ward no. 8 of Alital rural municipality last night.
Teacher at Samaiji foundation school, Aalital, Shyam Kalauni,40, died in the incident, District Police Office, Dadeldhura said.

Teacher Kalauni was travelling in a tractor (Se. 2 Ta. 285) on its way to Kurjeni from Alital when it overturned and crushed him. Another passenger, Padam Rana of ward no. 8 of the same municipality sustained minor injuries.
The tractor driver Dhanjit Dhami escaped following the incident and a search has been initiated to nab him, assistant police inspector Bir Bahadur Dhami said.
