KATHMANDU, Feb 23: A teacher died after a bus this morning hit his motorcycle at Basundhara. Police confirmed the death of Pradeep Neupane, 39, in the accident happened at 7:15 am.
A public vehicle (Ba 4 Kha 8407) en route to New Bus Park from Maharajgunj hit Neupane's two-wheeler (Ba 55 Pa 299), leaving him seriously injured. He later breathed his last in course of treatment at Basundhara-based Green City Hospital.
Why teachers are important
Neupane, a permanent resident of Dharapani of Sundar Bazaar municipality in Lamjung, was currently living at Banasthali.
Neupane, also the chair of Nepal Model Secondary School, was a teacher for physics and math subjects at the South Western College Basundhara for long. Police have arrested bus driver Mekh Bahadur Karki, 23, of Ramechhap along with bus for further investigations. RSS
