KATHMANDU, July 15: The untimely demise of Actor Saruk Tamrakar, whose lifeless body was found hanging in his Ratopul residence, has left the entertainment industry in shock. The circumstances surrounding his death have raised questions among fellow actors, urging a thorough investigation into the incident.
Tamrakar's body was found suspended from the staircase of his house around 11 pm on July 6. Former Miss Nepal of 2011, Malina Joshi, took to Instagram to voice her concerns, seeking answers about the tragic event. Joshi questioned the circumstances leading to Tamrakar's alleged suicide, asking who had been with him in his final days, the content of his last conversation, and who had last seen him before his passing.

She also expressed curiosity about Tamrakar's recent loss of contact with his close female friends, speculating on whether he had faced mistreatment, abuse, or depression. Joshi's remarks have triggered discussions within the industry, prompting a quest for truth and justice.
Authorities, however, maintain that the reason behind Tamrakar's decision to take his own life remains unknown. According to Superintendent of Police Dan Bahadur Karki, head of the Kathmandu Police Range, no suicide note or evidence thereof was discovered at the scene.
In light of the suspicious nature of the incident, an investigation is being conducted by the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maligaon. Tamrakar's mobile phone has been sent to the Digital Forensic Lab (DFL) to shed light on the circumstances surrounding his tragic end.
Police hope to gather crucial information, including phone records and conversations, from the DFL analysis. "As of now, no alternative motive has been identified. We anticipate that the mobile phone examination will reveal valuable insights," stated SSP Karki, while urging patience during this process.
According to police, investigations are also being carried out from various other angles.
