KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Nepal has won the gold medal in the Taekwondo under the ongoing 13th South Asian Games (SAG).
This is the third time Nepal hosts the SAG. Kamal Shrestha beat India's Rahul Jain in a 23-29 age category of Poomsae.
He collected 8.270 points while Rahul obtained 8.200 category winning the silver. Sri Lanka's player Nishashankase Asinge bagged the bronze with 8.060 points.
Prior to this, Nepal's Krishna Bahadur Tamang clinched the silver in the Taekwondo competition in 17-23 age group.
