The yantra made of iron has the devanagari letter shree inscribed at the center. The item was made during King Mahendra's reign and it adorned the top of the Supreme Court building at Ranipokhari.

Prakash Wasti, former judge of the Supreme Court and expert of legal history, however, says that the yantra was not actually lost but it had been kept at the store.
