BAITADI, Jan 13: The Sudurpaschim Province team has been announced for the Prime Minister's Cup Men's ODI National Cricket Tournament.
A 14-member team has been announced under the captaincy of Raju Rijal. Other members of the team are Tek Rawat, Gajendra Bohara, Naren Bhatt, Khadak Bohra, Kiran Kumar Thagunna, Narayan Joshi, Sher Malla, Naren Saud, Prakash Pandeya, Milan Bohra, Bikas Agri, Deepak Chand and Bhoraj Bhatt, according to Basudev Joshi, President of Sudur Paschim Provincial Cricket Association. Similarly, Abhishek Pal, Basant Khatri, Yuvaraj Khatri and Sanjay Bohara have been selected as reserve players.
PM Cup women's Sudurpaschim qualifier cricket begins today
Joshi said that the players who have performed well in the recently concluded qualifying tournament and the closed camp training have been selected for the team.
Sudurpaschim is scheduled to play its inaugural match against Lumbini Province on January 15 in the match to be held under the Prime Minister's Cup Men's ODI National Cricket Tournament at the Siddhartha Cricket Stadium in Bhairahawa.
