A joint meeting of the student unions held on Friday urged the authorities to manage tuition fee for plus two education.[break]
Likewise, the unions have also put forth a demand to come up with concrete university improvement plan and implement the agreement held between the university and student unions, said UP Lamichhane, spokesperson of Nepal Students´ Union (NSU).
According to him, the unions will draw the attention of HSEB about the scholarship issue on Sunday, the Minister for Education about universities improvement plan on Monday and the Chairman of Interim Election Council of Ministers about the issue of updating voters´ list without citizenship certificate on Tuesday.
The unions have urged the government to check the uncontrolled price hike in every sector and arrange relief materials for poor people and flood victims.
