Kanchanpur, Dec 16: A student died after being hit by a bus in Bedkot Municipality-7, Kanchanpur on Friday.
According to the police, Kabiraj Vaidya, 21, of Kanchan Vidya Mandir, Mahendranagar, died after his bicycle was hit by a bus (Na 6 Kha 6521) going toward Darchula on Friday morning.

The agitated locals blocked the Suda section of the East-West highway in protest of the accident.
According to police, the bus driver has been taken into custody for investigation.
