Student dies after being trapped under boulder

PALPA, March 22: A student of Janata Namuna Higher Secondary School in Tansen of Palpa district died after being trapped by a boulder.



Bishnu Prasad Ghimire of Baugha Pokharathok VDC -4 studying in Class 9 was trapped by the stone falling from above while he was making gravels.[break]



He was making money for studies by making gravels during holidays at Khanigaun, said police.



Meanwhile, Pabisara Gharti, 63, a resident of Heklang -7 in Palpa died of taking poison while she was under the influence of alcohol. The District Police Office Palpa said she died while being taken to United Mission Hospital, Palpa.
