Stable politics with democratic practice essential: Bodde

ITAHARI, Aug 2: US Ambassador to Nepal Peter W. Bodde has said stable politics and government with democratic practices was essential in Nepal for the development of country.



Taking part in an interaction at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences Dharan on Friday, the US Ambassador said his government was of the view that the CA election should be held on the announced date to secure the future of Nepal. [break]



He urged the political parties here to make efforts to create atmosphere conducive for the elections.



Hospital staffs, local representatives of political parties and indigenous leaders joined the interaction programme.
