I don't want to practice politics to win elections if the country loses: Rabindra Mishra

KATHMANDU, August 3: Rabindra Mishra, the former president of Bibeksheel Sajha Party, has said that he will not practice politics such that he wins the elections but the country loses. He said this through his Facebook status on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, August 3: Rabindra Mishra, the former president of Bibeksheel Sajha Party, has said that he will not practice politics such that he wins the elections but the country loses. He said this through his Facebook status on Wednesday.


Well-wishers say: ‘If you had not brought these agendas, you would have won the elections this time. I tell them, “From what I have seen, experienced, read and understood in the last 20/25 years, the conclusion I have reached is I will not practice politics to win elections if the country loses,” he wrote.

Mentioning that a book based on the concept of ‘nation above notion’ will come out soon, he further writes, “You may not agree with my point of view, I have no complaints about that. My political efforts to make the country win will continue. It’s okay even if I lose the election but the country wins.”
