The first semifinal match will be held on Saturday between Nepal Army and Armed Police Force of Group A. HSC will face Samsung Jawalakhel Youth Club of Group B in the second semifinal match on Sunday.
Lincoln Boys clinch title
JIRI, Oct 29: Lincoln Boys Club-A clinched the title of Jiri Championship Football Tournament here on Friday. Lincoln Boys defeated another local side United Group Jiri 2-1 in the final.
Lok Bahadur Khadka and Bishnu Karki scored for the winners while Santa Bahadur Tamang struck the consolation goal for the United. Winners Lincoln bagged the trophy and Rs 15,000 cash award.
Altogether 14 teams from three districts -- Ramechhap, Sindhupalchowk and Dolakha -- participated in the tournament organized by Jiri Sports Association.
