KATHMANDU, May 2: Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire has congratulated the Nepali national cricket team for winning the title of ACC Men's Premier Cup.
Expressing happiness over the unprecedented win making Nepal and the Nepali people proud, Speaker Ghimire expressed the belief that this achievement would further help in the professionalization of Nepali cricket.

He said, "The unprecedented win has made Nepal and the Nepalis proud. I believe that this achievement will further help in the professionalization of cricket. I want to draw the attention of the state that further respect and support to the players is needed."
Winning today's match, Nepal has qualified for the Asia Cup to be held in September this year in Pakistan. In the final match held today, Nepal defeated the UAE by seven wickets.
