She was invited by the UK parliament on the occasion of the bi-centenary of Nepal-UK bilateral ties.
Talking to media persons at Tribhuvan Airport before departure, Speaker Gharti said her visit would help strengthen relations between the parliaments of Nepal and the UK.
Speaker Gharti is scheduled to meet her counterpart there.
She further informed that she will soon call parliament meeting after returning home.
The delegation comprises chief whips of Nepali Congress Chinkaji Shrestha, CPN (UML) Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, UCPN (Maoist) Hitraj Pandey and Rastriya Prajatantra Party's Dilnath Giri.
Similarly, other members are General Secretary of the Parliament Secretariat Manohar Bhattarai and Secretary Mukunda Prasad Sharma. RSS
