Speaker Gharti leaves for China to attend Silk Road Expo

KATHMANDU, Sept 19: Speaker Onsari Gharti, leading an-eight-member delegation left for China last night.She left for there to participate in Silk Road International Cultural Expo being held in Gansu Province.

KATHMANDU, Sept 19: Speaker Onsari Gharti, leading an-eight-member delegation left for China last night.She left for there to participate in Silk Road International Cultural Expo being held in Gansu Province.


The Silk Road Cultural Expo is going to be held for the first time in Dunhuang City of Gansu Province of Peoples Republic of China.

The two-day Expo will begin on Tuesday. After attending the Expo function, she is scheduled to visit Yunnan Province of China on September 22 and 23. 


The delegation comprises her husband and CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Barsha Man Pun, general secretary at the Legislature-Parliament Manohar Prasad Bhattarai among others, said Sudarshan Kuinkel, deputy spokesperson at the Parliament. 

Speaker Gharti will return home September 24. RSS
