Sony launches Cyber-Shot cameras

KATHMANDU, April 9: Sony has unveiled a new range of compact and stylish Cyber-Shot cameras in the market. The new digital cameras by Sony comprise have advanced video recording and delivers effortless and versatile photo capture and beautiful images.



The new models are an addition to the H, T, W and S series already available in the market. Sony´s range of T series and H series are equipped with movie recording features which were previously available only on Handycam camcorders. These series of digital cameras can capture high definition movies with smooth subject movement and sharp images even under low light conditions. [break]



“Sony´s new range of cameras is equipped with advanced features combining new and advanced technology with our unique Sony style,” said Ramesh Bista, operations director of Nepa Hima Trade Link Pvt Ltd, the authorized dealer of Sony products for Nepal. “With Sony´s unique and powerful ´Exmor R´ technology, capturing clear and beautiful image photos in the evening or night is easy and convenient.”



Exmor R technology also allows users to take blur-free photos using anti-motion blur features that captures every single moment using fast 10 frames per second functionality.



“Consumers today are engaged in more active lifestyle and need sturdy products that can capture great moments of our life effortlessly,” says Bista, adding, “With unique design philosophy and technical expertise, we have created new Cyber-Shot cameras, such as the waterproof and shockproof TX5 which is built to withstand the daily grind without sacrificing its ability to take clear and vivid photographs”.



The new 10.2 Mega Pixel Cyber-Shot TX5 is a new addition to the popular Cyber-Shot T series and makes outdoor photography experience more vivid by enabling waterproof, dustproof, shockproof and even weather resistant features. TX5 is also one of the slimmest waterproof compact cameras in the world with a width of just 16.7 mm.



Other models in the Cyber-Short series are also loaded with further advanced features such as intelligent shooting mode, wide angle power house, integrated movie recording, GPS and compass and sweep panorama function that enables users to capture scenic moments in as quickly as three seconds.



The new series of Sony Cyber-Shot cameras are priced between Rs 10,499 to Rs 45,999.
