Softwarica edged past Apex College 2-1 in the first match played at the Buddhi Bikas Mandal ground, Lalitpur. Anuj Malakar gave the lead to Apex in the 42nd minute but Bikram Thapa leveled the scores in the 57th minute before Dawa Sherpa netted the winning goal in the 63rd minute. [break]
Meanwhile, Golden Gate College thrashed ISMT College 9-0 in the second match. Manas Karki scored four goals and Kamal Thapa scored a brace for Golden Gate. Kshitij Khadka, Janam Man and Sajan Magar added a goal each.
