Midas Edukit´s interactive educational CD is one of the most sought-after products at the fair. Sanu Maiya Timilsena, a visitor at the fair, said she is purchasing the CD in the hope that it will be effective for her school-going children.
Title Sponsor of the event Midas Technologies is offering 20 percent discount on its products and free SMS software for school worth Rs 5,000 on the purchase of full set of Edukit.
Youngsters are more attracted to anti-virus software. A visitor Saugat Singh Thapa said increasing use of internet is making anti-virus essential.
Square Computer, a local company based in Banepa, is offering a 40 percent discount on ESET NOD32 service. Similarly, Advance Computer is offering 50 percent off on McAffe anti-virus and B G International is also giving special discount on Bitdefender anti-virus. Wi-Fi Internet Service Provider Broadlink is giving 30 percent discount on regular recharge.
FinMax Software has introduced a software for the cooperatives. “Members of cooperatives can have the update on their transaction by sending a SMS with the help of the software,” FinMax representative at the fair said.
Banepa-based web-hosting company Seventies Miles is also drawing a good number of visitors at the fair.
