KATHMANDU, April 11: The Property Expo-2017, Nepal, which was being held at the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu, ended on Monday attracting more than 100,000 visitors, the organizers said.
The 6th edition of expo was organized jointly by Nepal Land and Housing Developers’ Association, the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction, and the Kathmandu Valley Development Authority.

The expo, which started Friday, was organized with the objective of providing information on the current state and future prospects of the land and housing business in Nepal, as well as showing the problems and challenges facing the business.
Visitors included people thinking about to buy houses, apartments or land, and entrepreneurs and personnel working in different sectors, amongst others.
The 120-stall fair showcased earthquake-resilient houses and apartments, construction material, furniture, pipes, paints, vehicles, and decorating items, among others.
Engineering and architectural consultants, and financial and insurance service companies also provided information on their services at the expo.
Talking to Republica, the organizers said they were overwhelmed by the participation of people from different parts of the country. “This edition of the expo was more successful than the previous ones. The expo has become a great platform for providing information to people looking to buy property. The visitors also got information on different related-equipment and technologies at the expo. The expo has also given momentum to the land and housing business in Nepal,” the organizers said.
