Butwal industry exhibition expo draws large number of visitors

TILOTTMA (Rupandehi), Oct 23: National Industry Exhibition and Tihar Fair underway in Butwal has attracted a large number of visitors.


Organized by the Nepal Industry Trade Organization, the fair is receiving an overwhelming numbers of visitors, said the organizer, adding the number was on the rise.

In particular, visitors glued to a stall displaying information technology-related appliances such as mobile phones, laptop, computer etc and inquired about them, said the organizer.


With the number of visitors surging, money transactions at information technology stalls is expected to increase, said treasurer of the organization Krishna Aryal.


Out of a total of 422 stalls showcasing solar panels among others, 58 belong to information technology.


"Sale of mobile phones is quite good. The fair aims to promote tourism, agriculture and the use of information technology," said Manoj Gupta, coordinator of the information technology subcommittee. Started three days ago, the fair will continue until October 31. RSS
