KATHMANDU, Feb 7: There is a possibility of snowfall in various parts of the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds.

According to the meteorological bulletin issued by the MFD earlier at 6AM, the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country including Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces and it is generally clear in the rest of the country.

The weather will be mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country including Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces. According to the MFD, there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
