SLC questions papers reached to all districts

BIRATNAGAR, March 10: The question papers and answer sheets for the upcoming school leaving certificate (SLC) examination have been reached to all districts across the country.



This year´s SLC examination is going to be held from March 14 to 22. Deputy Controller of the examinations Prahlad Aryal gave information about this at an interaction programme jointly organised by the Education Help Line and Education Journalists´ Group here on Sunday.[break]



A total of 546,165 students are sitting in this year´s SLC exam for which 1,786 exam centers have been set up, according to Deputy Controller, Aryal.



Of them, 438 are in the eastern region alone. Security arrangements have been made to conduct the examinations in a free and fair manner.



Any people found violating exam code of conduct shall face a fine of Rs. 10,000 and jail term for six months, he said.



Regional Officiating Education Director Sundar Shakya underlined the cooperative role from teachers and guardians to conduct the examinations in a disciplined manner.



District Education Officer of Morang, Yogendra Baral said exam observers and superintendents would be deputed with certain criteria.
