COVID-19 death toll in the district reaches 235

NEPALGUNJ, May 1: Six more individuals died of COVID-19 infection in Banke district. The deceased were undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital and Nepal Medical College.

According to the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee (DCCMC), a 60-year old man of Dang district, a 55-year old woman of Nepalgunj-10 and a 35-year old man of Kohalpur Municipality-11 died of the COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

A 51-year old man of Krishna Nagar Municipality-5, a 47-year old woman from Nepalgunj-6 and a 45-year old man from Tulsipur-17, Dang, are also among those dying of COVID-19 in the same period.

With this, the number of people dying of COVID-19 in the district has reached 235. Of them, 117 are people from other districts who breathed their last while undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Banke.
