KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Six leaders and cadres of the Communist Party of Nepal (Biplav) have been arrested from different parts of the Kathmandu Valley by the Nepal Police.
They were taken under control Wednesday in possession of improvised explosive devices, arms and party literature, Spokesperson for Nepal Police Manoj Neupane said.

During the police interrogations, they admitted to having plans to explode IEDS targeting the Valley-based polling centres, sensitive areas and candidates with the intention of spoiling the elections atmosphere, police said.
The arrested are Rabi Gole of Sarlahi, Bicharman Tamang alias Mukti of Sindhuli, Mahesh Nepali alias Roha Nepali of Makwanpur, Bigesh Lama of Kavrepalanchowk, Rajib Tamang of Nuwakot and Roshan Bista of Dolakha.
They were arrested along with a pistol and a certain quantity of IEDs on the eve of the elections and were presented before media today. Police said that they had involvement in the previous explosions targeting election candidates. RSS
