MORANG, Nov 14: Six people were injured in a road accident at Bhuwa Khola of Letang Municipality-6 in Morang district on Saturday evening.

According to the Morang Police, the four wheeler (Ko 2 Cha 947) heading to Warangi from Letang failed due to brake failure. The injured have been identified as Khagendra Kumari Limbu, 29, Ratna Kumar Limbu, 27, Dilmaya Limbu, 48, Sushma Limbu, 19, Devi Subba, 39, and Virendra Limbu, 19, of Letang-7.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Birat Nursing Home in Biratnagar according to the police. “The accident took place due to unpaved road and brake failure,” police said. Police have arrested the driver of the vehicle, Dhan Bahadur Magar, 27, of Letang-3 and started investigation into the incident.
