NEPALGUNJ, April 17: Six health workers of Bheri Hospital, who had earlier received COVID-19 vaccine, have tested positive for novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Those health workers had received shots of Covishield vaccine, according to Dr Prakash Thapa, Medical Superintendent at Bheri Hospital.
After detecting COVID-19 in six health workers, swab samples of other medics have also been collected and sent for tests. Their tests results are expected by this afternoon.
“Health conditions of those testing positive for COVID-19 are normal so far,” Thapa said. “Some of them are in home isolation while others have been admitted to the hospital,” he added.
