Six Chinese nationals injured in bus accident in Tanahun

TANAHUN, March 23: Six Chinese nationals were injured in a tourist bus accident in Tanahun.

TANAHUN, March 23: Six Chinese nationals were injured in a tourist bus accident in Tanahun.


On Saturday morning, the tourist bus (Ba 1 Pa 1139) coming from Pokhara to Kathmandu met with an accident along the Prithvi highway at Sheratar, Myagdi Rural Municipality-6 in Tanahun. According to the Tanahun district police office, six Chinese nationals were injured.

Among the injured are Chinese nationals Chucheng, 68, Sao Meng, 67, Sun Li, 50, Leo Ya Qing, 70, Wang Yidong, 62, and Huqiao Li, 57.


DSP Mohan Bahadur Khand said that they are being treated at GP Koirala respiratory treatment center, Belchautara.


DSP Khand said that the driver of the bus has been arrested and further investigation is being conducted into the accident. There were 26 passengers in the bus.
