Singh wins Central Constituency of Congress

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Arjun Jung Bahadur Singh has been elected as a central member of the Nepali Congress (NC) from the Backward Region cluster. The election was held on Monday under the 14th General Convention of the ruling party.

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Arjun Jung Bahadur Singh has been elected as a central member of the Nepali Congress (NC) from the Backward Region cluster. The election was held on Monday under the 14th General Convention of the ruling party.

According to the party's Central Election Committee, Singh won with 2,577 votes. His nearest rival Deepak Jung Shah polled 2,056 votes. A total of 4,672 votes were cast in the election while 39 votes were declared invalid.
