Shrestha will take on Sharma, while Acharya will be up against Lama on Tuesday in the semifinals of the ninth event under the Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2012-13. The third-place and final matches will be played on Wednesday. The top 16 pros as per the Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2011-12 season´s Order of Merit participated in the tournament.
Earlier in the first round, Pashupati Sharma stunned No 2 Rabi Khadka 2up, while Deepak Acharya upset No 3 Ramesh Adhikari on the 20th hole. Likewise, Yelamber Singh Adhikari ousted No 5 Ramesh Nagarkoti 3-1, whereas Ram Thapa outplayed No 8 Mani Rai 4-3.
In other matches, Shiva Ram Shrestha defeated No 16 CB Bhandari 6-4, Surya Sharma beat No 13 Krishna Shrestha on the 19th hole, Deepak Thapa Magar registered a 2-1 victory over No 11 Dhana Thapa and Sanjay defeated No 11 Umesh Nagarkoti on the 19th hole.
The winner of the event will receive Rs 50,000 while the runner-up will bag Rs 30,000.
