KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Dipin Kumar Shrestha has been elected the President of Sankhuwasabha District Committee of the Nepali Congress through lucky draw.
Lucky draw was opted after both candidates- Dipin Kumar Shrestha and Pasang Sherpa- secured equal votes in the election held on February 8 year this year.
Committee member Gopal Krishna Ghimire said that the Central Election Committee finalized the district election of the NC on Sunday through as per the Election Directives-Rule 2 (I)-2072 BS.
On December 7, the Committee had directed both candidates to be present at the Party Office, Sanepa, for the finalization of the election result. RSS
