According to the vote count results of the election made public on Tuesday morning, JP Gupta has been elected the vice-chair from the Shrestha’s panel. [break]
The Chamber’s senior vice-chair, industry vice-chair, general secretary, secretary and treasurer were elected unopposed earlier.
Among those elected unopposed are Maheshman Singh (senior vice-chair), Krishna Kumar Shrestha (vice-chair), Anil Prasad Shrestha (general secretary), Dinesh Shrestha (secretary) and Ujjwal Kasaju (treasurer).
Likewise, Kamala Pokharel and Dhan Kumari Khanal have been elected members under the women quota in the committee.
