Shivaraj finished with a total score of seven-over 223 to emerge champion in the boys' 17 -21 age category and book ticket for the Asia Final to be held at Mission Hills Golf Club, China in March 2016.Overnight leader Shivaraj shot four-over 76 in the third and final day to pull a three-stroke victory over Arun Tamang, who also produced four-over 76 for a total of 10-over 226.
Shivaraj had a disastrous front nine after he carded five-over 41. Similarly Arun also played five-over 41. On the back nine, Shivaraj came up with improved performance as he carded one-under 35 to seal victory. Arun also played one-under 35 on the back nine to confirm second place.
In the boys' 12-16 years category, Tenzing managed to secure place for the final despite coming up with disastrous score on the final day. He shot 15-over 87 and finished with total score of 241 to pull a three-stroke win over Aaryan Kumar.
The girls' section saw Pratima finish on top with 268 after she produced 17-over 89 in the final day. Kashmira Shah stood a distant second with total card of 312.
Nepal Golf Association President Madhukar Yakthumba and General Secretary Tashi Ghale distributed prizes to the winners. The three-day event was played over 54 holes on stroke-play format.
