KATHMANDU, Feb 19: The seventh edition of annual ‘Grand Dog Show’ was organized at NFA Technical Center, Chyasal, Lalitpur on Saturday.
Almost 200 dogs of different popular breed participated in the event organized annually since 2011 to collect the revenue for welfare of street dogs.
The event is the only dog expo in Nepal and hundreds of dogs participated in the competition for four different categories: best in breed, best in show, best in group, best puppy and best obedience.
All the dogs were judged by professional and experienced jury members on the basis of their health, quality, obedience and breed anatomy. The event also featured puppy show, dog-breed show and dog ramp show. Kennel club stalls, food stalls, dog accessories stalls, free grooming and free Check-ups were other major attractions of the event.
