Seven more COVID-19 cases detected in Sunsari

ITAHARI, June 3: Seven more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Sunsari on Wednesday.

ITAHARI, June 3: Seven more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Sunsari on Wednesday.


According to Sagar Prasain, the chief district public health officer, seven individuals tested positive for COVID-19 among 53 tests conducted at B.P Koirala Institute of Health and Science through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method. All the infected are from Votraha Narasingha Rural Municipality, Sunsari.

They (infected) had returned from India two weeks ago. The infected have been taken to BPKIHS, Dharan for further treatment. 


With seven more infections today, the total number of infected people in Sunsari has reached 12.
