School bus crash in French port city kills 6 children

PARIS, Feb 11:  French officials say six students were killed in a collision between a school bus and another vehicle in a town on France's Atlantic coast.

Rochefort Mayor Herve Blanche told iTele that the circumstances of the early morning crash are under investigation, and he confirmed that six children had died.France's transportation minister and other top government officials were headed to the scene of the crash Thursday in the Charente-Maritime region.
