Since Special Committee has been entrusted with integration, rehabilitation and management of PLA, there is no need of another mechanism alternative to UNMIN, he said speaking at a press meet organized by Press Chautari at Ghorahi, Dang, today.
Regarding selection of the new Prime Minister, he said that parties should forge consensus at the earliest.
Saying that army integration and rehabilitation hasn´t picked momentum because the Unified CPN (Maoist) is not ready, he said that if the Maoist party wants to move the peace process forward, consensus can be forged.
If parties agree to go for rotational prime ministerial system, UML will adopt more flexibility, Pokharel said.
On constitution drafting process, he said the new constitution will be promulgated on time if parties show willpower.
