KATHMANDU, Aug 24: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an interim order not to take any long-term decisions, stating that the vote of confidence taken by the Chief Minister of Koshi Province Government, Uddhav Thapa, cannot be considered constitutional.
A single bench of Justice Ishwar Prasad Khatiwada gave an interim order not to take long-term decisions mentioning that the vote of confidence taken by CM Thapa cannot be considered constitutional.
The apex court has scheduled a hearing on September 1 for the full hearing on the writ petition.
