KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Supporters of Pushpa Kamal Dahal-Madhav Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and other people have begun celebrations following the verdict of the Supreme Court (SC) to reinstate the House of Representatives (HoR) earlier today.

The apex court is expected to issue the verdict anytime after Feb 23.

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: With the pleading by the plaintiffs and defendants on the writ petitions on the case related to the dissolution of the House of Representatives coming to an end on Monday,  the Constitutional Bench at the Supreme Court is receiving arguments from the Amicus Curiae starting from Tuesday.

The hearing on the writ petitions against the move of Prime Minister K P Oli to dissolve the parliament will resume again on Wednesday as the Supreme Court has decided to put off all the hearings scheduled for Tuesday to mourn over the death of former justice Indra Raj Pandey.
