The event was hosted by one of the members of SAW, Neeva Mathema Pradhan. “We have especial day for cows and dogs but we turn helpless when they end up to streets. We are trying to bring awareness on how to give stray animals a better life through providing Anti Rabies Vaccination and Spaying,” said Prof. Pradhan.
“Animals feel different emotions as we are capable of feeling so, we are morally obligated to meet their needs. Their need to live a safe and secured life closely relates to enhancing animal welfare as it includes ensuring both physical and mental well-being of the animals,” expressed Maria Teresa Pessôa.
“Liquid emulsion was used long time before when photographic paper was not invented. This is a traditional practice of photography. I have tried to show the ancient lifestyle of people especially from Bhaktapur through liquid emulsion,” asserts Vet Joshi.
“It is thus, through the depiction of art that I have tried to relate my intense connection and love for animals,” he added.
