Saraswati  Gyawali’s autobiography launched

Saraswati Gyawali launched her autobiography entitled ‘Laltin Ko Ujyaloma’ amid a special program organized at Alfa House Banquets at Baneshwar on Saturday. Professor of English Literature in Tribhuwan University, Krishna Chandra Sharma; Lawmaker Binda Pandey, Commissioner and Spokesperson of National Information Commission Yashoda Timalsina and writer Gyawali jointly unveiled the book. 

Various other noted personalities including incumbent ministers, politicians, litterateurs and other personalities were present in the program.  

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali and Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizen Thammaya Thapa attended the program.  

“This book is all about a woman who struggled to accomplish her study, continue her career in politics while taking care of her 28-year-old daughter with disability,” said the host of the program Sujan Gyawali. 

“I am not a professional writer but people around inspired me to write this autobiography,” writer Gyawali said at the program. “Like many other individuals, my daughter is fighting with disability so I want the government understand the difficulties of differently able people and do something meaningful for them.” 

The book is published by Akshar Publication and is priced for Rs 320.
