KaTHMANDU, Nov 23: Sankhamul Futsal and White Horse Futsal on Wednesday registered victories in the Red Bull National Futsal League underway in the capital. 

In the Group B match held at Sankhamul's turf, the home team registered a convincing 10-2 win over Kumari Futsal. Abhaya Rana netted four goals for Sankhamul while Nirmal Gurung scored a brace. Similarly, Yunish Awale, Biplav Dhwoj Shah and Himshail GC notched one goal each for the winning side. Sankhamul got another goal as a gift after Kumari's Mishan Lama put the ball into his own net. Rupesh Chhettri and Sumesh Tamang scored one goal each for Kumari. Abhaya Rana of Sankhamul was declared the man-of-the-match. 

With the win, Sankhamul has strengthen its grip on top of the table in Group B with 22 points from 9 matches. Kumari is in the second position with 17 points playing equal number of matches. 

Similarly in Wednesday's Group A match, White Horse defeated Imperial Futsal 8-5. Ritesh Lama scored a hat-trick for White Horse while Manoj Prajapati and Manjil Maharjan notched two goals each for the winning side. Pranesh Gorkhali added another goal for White Horse.

Nirajan Gaire's hat-trick could not prevent Imperial from losing the match. Kishan Adhikari and Dipak Ghising netted one goal each. White Horse's Ritesh Lama was declared the man-of-the-match. 

After registering the win over Imperial, White Horse has climbed to the fourth position in Group A with 16 points from 9 matches. Likewise, Imperial is sixth with nine points.
