KATHMANDU, July 12: Sagarmatha Insurance Company Ltd has decided to distribute 23.75 percent bonus shares and 1.25 percent cash dividend (for tax purpose) to its shareholders.

Issuing a statement, the non-life insurer said that its 19th AGM held on Tuesday approved the proposal to distribute dividend for raising its paid-up capital.

According to the statement, the company collected Rs 1.9 billion in insurance premium in the current fiscal year as of Monday.
