KATHMADNU, Dec 16 : The 28th annual general meeting (AGM) of National Life Insurance Company has approved a proposal to distribute 30 percent bonus shares and 1.58 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from its profits of Fiscal Year 2015/16.
Issuing a statement, NLIC said its paid-up capital would reach Rs 1.32 billion after the allocation of said bonus shares. It added that after a planned 1:1 rights issue, its paid-up capital would reach Rs 2.64 billion.
