Rajib Das Shrestha, director of the hotel, clarified that the hotel doesn´t owe any more fee.
According to the Department of National Park and Wildlife Conservation, the jungle resorts owe Rs 19.22 million, to be paid as conservation fee and royalties, to the NTNC and the government as of July 16.
The CNP directed seven jungle reports -- Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge, Chitwan Jungle Lodge, Gaida Wildlife Camp, Machan Wildlife Camp, Temple Tiger Camp, Safari Narayani Hotel and Island Jungle Resort -- to close their operation, after their lease contract expired on July 15.
Water Kingdom resumes operation
Exotic Resort Water Kingdom, a fun spot located in Ghatbeshi of Dhading, some 61 kilometers from Kathmandu, has resumed operations under the new management.
In a bid to attract customers, the company is organizing a monsoon rain dance with live musical event on August 9.
According to a press release issued by the resort on Thursday, popular singers, including Nabin K Bhattarai, Pramod Nirvan, Kamal Man Singh and Suraj Singh, will take part in the event.
Exotic Resort Water Kingdom is the only entertainment site where the visitors can enjoy swimming, rain dance, sliding and other fun activities in water, the release stated.
Laxmi Bank ties up with Beed
Laxmi Bank and Beed Invest have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to introduce portfolio management services to Laxmi Bank customers, according to a press statement issued by the bank on Thursday.
As per the agreement, Laxmi Bank and Beed Invest will work together to develop financial and investment products for Laxmi Bank´s customers, who are keen at investing in the stock market.
Beed is a portfolio manager authorized by Securities Board of Nepal.
Laxmi Bank has termed the agreement to provide professional portfolio management services to its customers as yet another milestone for the bank.
Yamaha monsoon camp
MSK Enterprises, a dealer of Morang Auto Works (MAW) - authorized distributor of Yamaha motorcycles in Nepal, is organizing Yamaha Monsoon check-up camp from August 7 to 9 at its showroom in Balaju.
In the camp, Yamaha customers can enjoy free check up by company engineers and free bike wash among others.
The company is also offering discounts of 50 percent on labor charges, 10 percent on spare parts, 20 percent on accessories and 20 percent on Yama Lube.
