BELGIUM, Sept 26: At the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) European conference held in Sweden, when the former president of NRN Belgium, Chitra Subedi, was speaking on the stage, everyone seemed silent. Some became emotional after listening to him.
While Subedi was speaking, the photo of a middle-aged man was also seen in the background. When Subedi was telling everything about the man in the picture, Sabitra Giri, the secretary of NRN Belgium, who was sitting on the stage, could not hold back her tears.
Sabitra’s husband Kamal Bharti left home five years ago. Since then, she has been trying to search for him in many places. She even went to the police. But all efforts were unsuccessful.
Complaints of the disappeared have themselves disappeared!
Finally, she expressed her grief to NRNA and asked everyone to search for her husband. Sabitra had initially planned to go on stage and ask for it herself, but she couldn't. Later, Subedi read out her appeal to everyone.
Her husband, who has been missing since February 26, 2017, has not been found yet. "He has been missing and leaving me and our son and daughters alone. He didn’t provide any information regarding where he will go and asked not to look for him. We had appealed to the Belgian police and other organizations to find him, however, there has been no success," she said.
Sabitra Giri and Kamal Bharti were living in Bruges, Belgium for a long time. They have two daughters and a son. Bharti was doing well in his business, but he suddenly disappeared. After her husband disappeared, Sabitra sold the running business and gradually paid all the debts.
After leaving home, Bharti had reached Italy. He checked in at Hotel Spagna in Venice on March 1, 2017 and spent one night there, according to the hotel. There is no clue except this.
