KATHMANDU, Dec 2: The CPN (Unified Socialists) has said that the rumors spread about its unification with the Maoist center is baseless.
General Secretary of CPN (Unified Socialist) Dr. Beduram Bhusal in a statement on Friday clarified that no decision has been made within the party for unity with the Maoist Centre. "This is completely baseless. There is no truth in it," Dr Bhusal said in the statement.

"We are clear that there is a need to unite the Nepali communist movement," he said through a statement, "But there has been no decision in this regard yet. There has been no discussion, no dialogue or anything in this regard."
Dr Bhusal also urged everyone not to fall into such confusion as a section of people are trying to create confusion among people by spreading propaganda that is not happening.
