Ruling parties agree to table MCC grant agreement in parliament

KATHMANDU, Feb 20: The ruling parties have agreed to table the US-funded Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) grant agreement in parliament.

A meeting of the top leaders of the five ruling parties held in Baluwatar on Sunday morning decided to table the grant agreement in the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting today.

The HoR meeting is being held at 1 PM today. A meeting of the Business Advisory Committee scheduled to be held before the parliament meeting will make an official decision to table the grant agreement in parliament meeting today, according to sources close to Prime Minister's Office.
