KATHMANDU, Jan 28: A meeting of the ruling coalition partners has decided to move forward the winter session of the parliament with the motive to pass as many laws as possible.
The meeting held in Baluwatar on Monday decided to raise a united voice to make the winter session, which will begin on January 31, an effective one. Speaking to the media after the meeting, CPN-UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula said, “The main objective of this meeting is to ensure the success of the winter session called from January 31.”

Lawmaker Bartaula claimed that all the coalition partners have taken the recently introduced ordinances positively.
“We discussed the ordinances and how they have encouraged the private sector,” he said, “There is no problem in the ruling parties regarding the ordinances, we have decided to move forward with unity.”
He said that it has been decided that top leaders, including the prime minister, will address the parliament meeting on January 31 and that the ruling parties will stand together in the parliament's proceedings and strengthen it.
