KATHMANDU, Sept 27: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has postponed its press conference, originally scheduled for Friday, to Sunday.
The Acting Spokesperson Manish Jha of the party stated that the press conference will be held at 2:30 PM at the party’s central office in Banasthali, following a Central Committee (CC) meeting.
RSP postpones press conference
The CC meeting is scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM at the party’s central office. According to RSP Jha, the meeting will cover discussions on current political affairs, the recent visit of party leaders to China, party activity reports, a review of the first national assembly, the upcoming local-level by-elections, and preparations for the party convention.
Earlier on Thursday, a team led by RSP Vice Chairman Dr Swarnim Wagle, returned to Kathmandu, cutting short their visit to China.
Initially scheduled for a 10-day trip, the 14-member delegation was set to return home on Monday.
