Cooperative employee in Janakpur looted of Rs 8 million

JANAKPURDHAM, May 6: Armed men have robbed Rs 8 million from an employee of a cooperative in Janakpurdham.

JANAKPURDHAM, May 6: Armed men have robbed Rs 8 million from an employee of a cooperative in Janakpurdham.


According to police, Birendra Kumar Mahato, an employee of Subhashree Savings and Credit Cooperative, was held at gunpoint and robbed of the cash.

Mahato stated that two armed men on a motorcycle robbed him while he was carrying the money from Janakpurdham Sub-metropolis-19. Mahato was on his way to the cooperative after withdrawing the cash from a bank.


The Dhanusha District Police Office is currently investigating the incident.
